When should I schedule a wedding dress fitting?
A wedding dress alteration is normally several appointments. We ask for a month ahead of the wedding date but sooner is always better to have the appointment scheduled, It is nice to know in advance that your dress is ready for your special day. What do I need to bring with me and who should come to my wedding dress fitting?
You will need your shoes, shape wear, bra, and accessories for a proper fitting. We set aside an hour for the first appointment. You are welcome to bring your Mom or a couple of close friends or family members. We also can schedule a longer session and include others with a fitting party. Special occasion dresses for the Mother of the bride or groom, bridesmaids, and other fancier dresses can often be altered within a week. We schedule after hours appointments including Saturdays.
Do you make custom dresses or suits?
We do make custom wedding dresses which typically take a few months to make. We love to upcycle Heirloom dresses, vintage finds, and can reshape and refit the dress for you quickly.
We do alter suits, tuxedos and blazers but do not offer custom made. Please contact us by phone, email, text, or Facebook Messenger to help make your wedding day dreams come true!
